  • Online access to information about the credentials required to practice a regulated profession or trade in Quebec (Canada)

  • Access to quantitative and qualitative data regarding the path of newcomers from living abroad to gaining full employment in Canada
  • Access to the collaborative platform for networking, upon arrival, with potential employers for: paid professional internships (if possible), mentorships, term or indeterminate jobs or volunteer work calibrated for early immersion in the Quebec (Canadian) professional world

Services offered upon arrival

  • Access to the full range of services offered prior to arrival
  • Access to refresher workshops on skill recognition for immigrants (also available online from abroad upon referral from the Ministry)
  • Access to refresher workshops on the preparation and constitution of application files to be submitted to the professional orders
  • Access to training or self-study guides or other tools to help prepare for a mandatory examination of a professional order or other regulatory body
  • Access to class (or individual) action initiatives with a professional order or a regulated trade, if necessary
  • Access to group complaint service with the Complaints Commissioner, if necessary
  • Access to the collective rights advocacy accompaniment service to the human rights tribunal, if necessary

[1] Access to the collaborative platform will be primarily for immigrants referred by a province or the federal government

[2] Also available to professional orders and specific employers looking for a regulated workforce

SERVICES FOR PROFESSIONAL ORDERS & EMPLOYERS

  • Special agreements for on-demand and Pay As You Go services- contact the organization's management for more information
  • Access to the collaborative platform for publishing offers of paid professional internships, mentorships, specific and targeted volunteer work, and term or indeterminate employment with the objective of discovering, in immersion, the skills acquired abroad by highly skilled newcomers
  • Access to the available collaborative platform for networking with highly skilled newcomers.

SERVICES FOR THE MUNICIPAL, PROVINCIAL AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

  • Specific agreement for the design and delivery of one-time, innovative projects targeting the employment integration of highly skilled newcomers . Contact the organization's management for more information.

La Voix de l’immigrant agit comme intermédiaire entre les immigrants qualifiés et le gouvernement du Québec.
